Integrated Community Partnerships Across WA
Family Support Networks (FSNs) are a partnership between the community sector, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), other state government agencies, and the Department of Communities (Communities). FSNs provide a common entry point to services delivering earlier, targeted support to families facing complex challenges who are vulnerable to involvement with the child protection system. FSNs are either led by or delivered in partnership with ACCOs to ensure culturally secure services are available to support the needs of Aboriginal families.
FSNs operate across the metropolitan area in four service area corridors. The FSNs are managed by a lead agency from the community services or ACCO sector through formal partnerships with other local family support services (called FSN partner agencies).
